West Brookfield property sales: two disclosed prices among 12 deeds recorded in late summer
West Brookfield recorded 12 property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, according to Worcester County Registry of Deeds filings, but only two included a disclosed sale price: $167,824 and $22,641, for a two-sale median of $95,232. The highest-priced transaction was an Aug. 20 sale from Catherine I. and Matthew J. Rogala to Country Bank For Savings. Clearview Drive and Lakeshore Drive each recorded two transfers during the period. Several deeds involved lenders, trusts, an estate, a conservation land trust and utility companies rather than conventional buyer-seller sales. With only two of 12 deeds disclosing price, the data provides limited basis for characterizing overall market conditions this period.
