West Brookfield recorded 12 property deed transfers between July 10 and Aug. 8, but only four listed a sale price. Among those, prices ranged from $25,000 to $462,453, with a median of $215,000. The period's top recorded transaction was a $462,453 West Brookfield deed involving Guaranteed Rate Inc. and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. as buyer. West Main Street saw two of the 12 recorded transfers. With two-thirds of deeds lacking disclosed pricing, and several involving banks, mortgage companies or the town treasurer, the available data does not support a clear read on overall market tone this period.
